WAGE REVISION IN BSNL IS IN DANGER

BSNLEU HAS POSTED THE FOLLOWING ITEM IN ITS WEBSITE ON 25-5-2017:

Wage revision of BSNL employees is in danger - total unity of all the unions and associations and united struggles alone will ensure wage revision of the BSNL employees.

All are aware that, the 3rd PRC recommendations are against the BSNL employees. The affordability clause of the 3rd PRC recommendations says that, the Profit Before Taxation (PBT) of a PSU should not dip by more than 20%, due to the implementation of the wage revision. BSNL is not making any profit. Hence, BSNL employees are not entitled for wage revision, as per the recommendation of the 3rd PRC. The role of the Administrative Ministry, ie., DoT is very crucial in this. So long as shri J. S. Deepak was the Secretary, DoT, he had been taking a very positive stand on the wage revision of BSNL employees. However, after his removal, a shift has come in the stand of the DoT also. Under these circumstances, unless the entire unions and associations stand together, it will be extremely difficult for the BSNL employees to get wage revision. Let us get ready for massive and united struggles, to ensure that wage revision is ensured to BSNL employees..

WARNING ALARM  

BSNLELU in its website has told that there is no chance of getting wage revision under third PRC directions.

We understood the danger much earlier. Still some friends have illusion about PRC. PRC will not change its report and suggest any pension revision. Govt will not ask PRC to reopen the matter due to cascading repercussions.

We cannot depend upon wage revision in BSNL. With annulment of 60:40  condition we are 100% central Government  pensioners. Our pension should be revised without linking with profit or loss of BSNL .It should be by extension of the Finance ministry orders of 4.8.2016 and 12.5.2017 Give notional pay revision of  last pay drawn and refix the pension.

No illusion. No confusion. We are PSU retirees but central govt pensioners.

We demand CPC benefits now and all the time to come also.

STATE BANK OF INDIA IS LOOTING

After the recent merger of five subsidiary banks (including State Bank of Travancore, with whom our CHQ has the Accounts) in SBI, the Bank is levying unnecessary charges and putting unwanted restrictions.

More than Rs 25000 can not be sent to a particular account per day. One branch transfers Rs. 25000 to CHQ account one day. Nobody else can transfer amounts on that day.If they transfer we have to pay unnecessary fines.

Use NEFT to transfer funds to CHQ account. 

First, deposit the amount in the account of the branch.Then using NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer system) you can transfer any amount without paying extra charges.

ELSE, YOU CAN SEND THE AMOUNT AS DEMAND DRAFT OR AT PAR CHEQUE 

WE ARE SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING TO CHANGE THE BANK.

DO NOT USE CHQ PAN NUMBER

Some Circle Units have opened bank accounts giving CHQ PAN. Now, the Tax is deducted for the total amount taking together all the deposits made by CHQ and Circles with the same PAN. We are made to pay huge amounts as Income Tax. So, Circle Units are requested to obtain separate PAN. It is urgent.

 MEDICAL ALLOWANCE WITHOUT VOUCHER

As reported earlier, due to our consistent efforts, the BSNL Corporate Office has restored quarterly medical allowance without Voucher for the Pensioners only. Now, SSA offices are collecting options from the pensioners.

Each and every Pensioner should calculate which is beneficial to him/her and then give option.

For those who retired before 1-1-2007, the quantum of medical allowance is the same what they were receiving earlier till 2011. From that, the monthly amount can be assessed. If the expenditure being incurred by a pensioner is higher than the said amount, it is better to opt for with voucher scheme.

78.2% REVISION:

AGAIN, CORPORATE OFFICE WANTS DATA

In July 2016, the Cabinet decided to revise our Pension with 78.2% IDA. Last date prescribed to complete the work was 31-12-2016. Neither the DOT nor the BSNL honoured it. Then Member (F) of Telecom Commission extended the date up to 10-4-2017.One month has passed since the second date also. Some circles have not cleared the cases of those who retired in 2008 or 2009 even.

Now, the Corporate Office has asked the Circles to intimate number of cases processed and forwarded to CCAs by BSNL SSAs till 31-3-2017.

CO used to ask data from Circles very often.Most of the Circles do not comply with it.This is the BSNL efficiency.

The forum of BSNL unions have  written a letter to Smt Aruna Sunderraj IAS holding charge of Secretary Telecom.

In the letter it is mentioned that DOT was  positive towards pay revision earlier but NEGATIVE now!.

மருத்துவ செலவு வழங்கப்படுவது அந்தந்த BSNL SSA மூலம் தான் . அந்த பணம் Bank மூலம் Money Transfer செய்யப்படுகின்றது. Post ஆபிஸ் மூலம் ஓய்வூதியம் பெறுபவர்கள் வேறு ஏதாவது வங்கியில் SB கணக்கு ஆரம்பித்து  அந்த வங்கியின் IFSC code எண் மற்றும் SB கணக்கு எண் கொடுத்தால் Bank மூலமாக பணம் Tranfer செய்வது விரைவாக நடைமுறை படுத்தலாம்.
மேலும் மெடிக்கல் கார்டினை நான்கு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறை புதுப்பிக்கப்பட வேண்டும். அவ்வாறு புதுப்பிக்காதவர்கள் உடனடியாக ஜெனரல் செக்சனில் பணிபுரியும் திரு ரமேஷ் அல்லது திரு பாலகிருஷ்ணன் அவர்களை தொடர்பு கொண்டு புதுப்பிக்கவும்..
Post 2006 ஓய்வூதியர்கள் 78.2% Sanction Memo  CCA  அலுவலகம் அனுப்பி பெறாதவர்கள் கணக்கு அதிகாரி திரு சாத்தப்பன் அவர்களை தொடர்பு கொள்ளவும். 
தபால் அலுவலகம் மூலம் ஓய்வூதியம் பெறுபவர்களுக்கு :- சுமார் 300 Sanction Memos  CCA விடமிருந்து வந்துள்ளன . அவர்களும் ஒவ்வொன்றாக கணக்கிட்டு வருகிறார்கள் , சற்று பொறுமை காக்கவும் 
நம் மாநில செயலர் SBI அதிகாரிகளை பார்த்து தாமதத்தை களைய வற்புறுத்தியுள்ளார். நிலுவைத் தொகை கணக்கீட்டு பகுதியில் கூடுதல் ஆட்களை depute செய்யவேண்டும் என்று கூற AGM SBI Customer Care Cell அவர்களும் இன்னும் ஓரிரு நாட்களில்  அவ்வாறு செய்வதாக வாக்களித்துள்ளார் .
மாநில சங்க விடா முயற்சி காரணமாக தோழர் J.S. கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி அவர்களின் மருத்துவ ஈட்டு படி சுமார் ரூ 65,000/- கிடைத்துள்ளது. மாநில சங்கத்திற்கு நன்றி  மேலும் தோழர் கோபால கிருஷ்ண பிள்ளை அவர்களுக்கு Vendor எண் மாநில சங்கத்தின் அரு முயற்சியால் பெறப்பட்டுள்ளது .மாநில சங்கத்திற்கு நன்றி

Greetings to all.
Today our Circle Secretary Com.K.Muthiyalu had gone to State Bank Of India, LHO Nungambakkam, Chennai . He wanted to meet the General Manager but GM was not available at that time .
So our CS was directed to meet AGM, Customer Care. He had a cordial and nice meeting with Shri.Srivastava, AGM, Customer Care, SBI. 
Our CS explained in detail about the long delay to credit the 78.2% IDA arrears by the SBI Officials. In spite of our repeated reminders and meetings at different levels, the works were moving in snail speed.
The AGM listened our demands very patiently and told that he had been transferred recently from Patiala and he would go thoroughly in to the matter and set right in two or three days.
We told that there was an acute shortage of staff in that section and requested to depute one more staff to that section. He replied that he would depute a staff in a day or two.
CS handed over long pending  cases about 30 in number which he had received from Thanjavur, Salem etc SSA pensioners  with respective PPO and SB account numbers. AGM  assured our CS  to settle all at the earliest.
We hope that atleast here after the things would move little faster. District Secretaries may collect such cases and send to the Circle secretary with PPO, LPS and SB Account Numbers by post or through Courier.

Greetings to all.
Today ( 11-05-2017)Birthday celebrations were held with sparkling enthusiasm . We had invited April born 54 celebrities but due to scorching sun, only 15 members had turned up.Birthday Cake was cut by Senior most  Comrades Lavanya ( Born in 1942 ) and Chandramouli ( Born in 1943).Felicitations were showered up on the birthday celebrities. Birthday Mementos were given to all.
It has been decided to  celebrate the  birthday of our members every month on 2nd Thursday.
During the birthday celebrations, two new members had joined our Association and made the events more colourful.
They are Com.K.Kuppusamy ( Pollachi ) and J.Bovas ( Mettupalayam). Day before  yesterday one member had joined as Life Member, with this the strength of our District Union has grown to 576. We expect still more members to join our Association.

Quota To CHQ
It is found that many Branches and Districts have not sent Quota to CHQ. If quota is not received by CHQ, it will be presumed as no Branch/District exists. We request Circle Secretaries to inform their branches. we have achieved many of our demands like Pension revision, 60:40 annulment, MRS without Voucher,Night free Calls, quarters to Pensioners etc. it is possible due to our persistent and consistent and logical approach. To achieve our other goals please strengthen our association by approaching pensioners and family pensioners who are not members yet by informing our achievements.Make everyone as  LIFE MEMBER.

In the recently concluded Circle Executive Meeting, our General Secretary Com.G.Natarajan and our Circle Secretary Com.K.Muthiyalu had appealed all District Secretaries to enrol more members to our association. Now that our District union has struck the right string. We expect more to join.
We are glad to inform that we have 573 members and take pride to announce that all 573 Members are LIFE MEMBERS. No member in Coimbatore Division is annual subscription paying member.
Only a few pensioners have received 78.2% IDA merger arrears order and almost all recipients have donated leberally.
Today Com.Karthikeyan and Com. Chelladurai have donated  and Com.R.Thiruvenkatasamy, our Circle Assistant Secretary has collected from Udumalpet area, and gave the collected amount by a cheque of  Rs 5000/-  to our District Secretary Com.B.Arunachalam.

அனைவருக்கும் மாவட்ட சங்கத்தின் சார்பாக வணக்கத்தை தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறோம்.
நம் SSA வைச்சார்ந்த தோழியர் ரமீலா அவர்கள் நம் இயக்கத்தில் தம்மை இன்று இணைத்துக்கொண்டுள்ளார் .சங்க வளர்ச்சி நிதியாக ரூ.500/- நன்கொடை அளித்துள்ளார். இணைந்துள்ள தோழியரை நம் சங்கத்தின்  சார்பாக வருக! வருக!! என வரவேற்கிறோம். அளித்திட்ட நன்கொடைக்கு நெஞ்சார்ந்த நன்றியை தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறோம்.
எந்த சங்கத்திலும் அங்கத்தினர் அல்லாத சுமார் 40 ஓய்வூதியர்கள் இன்று நம் சங்க அலுவலகம் வந்து மெடிக்கல் அலவன்ஸ் படிவத்தைப் பூர்த்தி செய்து சென்றனர். நாம் அவர்களுக்கு செய்திட்ட உதவிகளையும் , விளக்கங்களையும் கேட்டு மிகவும் நெகிழ்ந்து போனார்கள் குறிப்பாக தோழர் குணசேகரன் ( PROJECT ) மற்றும் திருப்பூர் தோழர் V.K  ஆறுமுகம்  தங்கள் நன்றியறிதலை தெரிவித்து  விரைவில் நம்முடன் இணைவதாக வாக்களித்துள்ளனர்

ஒரு முக்கிய அறிவிப்பு :
