Accounts Officer, Medical Claims, STSR, Chennai has informed us that those who want Medical Allowance Option without voucher can give their OPTION FORM (the old option form itself sufficient) to the AO Office STSR Chennai.

Those who are not having VENDOR No. should give the ERP Form also.

Accounts Officer CGM TN Office told us that they are still on the job since the higher authorities are on official tour and said that they will release the orders soon

Greetings to you all. Medical reimbursement without Voucher form is available in our association office.
All our members are requested to collect the form, duly fill in and submit it immediately.
There is option to inform whether you will  claim medical reimbursements with voucher or without voucher method. So all have to give  the form. Our District secretary is eagerly awaiting to help you. Shall we expect you tomorrow the 28th April in our Association office?

VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO OUR MEMBERS    

We are giving instructions to our members repeatedly to make their Pension savings bank account in bank or post office as EITHER OR SURVIVOR type account.  In spite of our repeated reminders some pensioners do  not follow our instructions.They donot realise the seriousness in our advise.

Recently when one member died he was  having 2 lakhs rupees in his SB Account.. When his wife asked for the amount the authorities required legal heir certificate. The postal  authorities say that some other person may claim as his wife or legal heir and drag them into dispute. Now his wife  is suffering to get legal heir certificate. If you have EITHER OR SURVIVOR SB A/C  you can withdraw money easily.( In the Pension SB account only wife or husband as the case may be could become a joint account holder) that is why we  ask our members to have either or survivor pension account in Post office or in  Banks by joining wife or husband as joint account holder. The rules are there for having such account in post office or in bank.  if you have not done it so far, please  do not delay it. Act now immediately and  dont put your spouse in trouble after your life.  

               

Today 4 new members have joined our association as Life Members making the new Gems Total as 16 so far this month. We expect some more members to join very soon. We serve hard for the welfare of our Pensioners and attend the needs of the individuals. So we grow. We welcome  the newly joined Comrades. 

In spite of Scorching sun above her head, Com.Malathi, our member  came all the way from Chennai and donated Rs.3000/- with thanks for having received her 78.2% IDA merger arrears as a mark of her gratitude for the association which had really striven hard to achieve this . We thank Com.Malathi.
